Just north of the city, Anderson Park is a 24-hectare estate with a Georgian residence at its centre. If you enjoy a good painting as much as I do, check out the Anderson Park Art Gallery, exhibiting quality art from the far south of New Zealand. Local food specialities include oysters and blue cod. No mention of Hawaiian pizza though, beats me.
